Why kumud married pramad

Alak Nandini, Kumud's sister-in-law gets Saras from the road when he was injured because the local police officer took his revenge on him and thus Saras was not able to stop Kumud from getting married to someone she doesn't love at all.

When Alak brings Saras to her house, he figures out that he is in the house of Kumud's in laws. To handle the situation, Saras renames himself Naveenchandra. The story then revolves around Kumud trying to reform Pramad's alcoholic ways, and Saras wanting to help her as he believes it is all his fault. Later, they find out that Pramad is in a sexual relationship with the housemaid, Kalika.

Also, they come to know that Kalika is the core reason of the mess Pramad was making throughout his life. Kumud's sister Kusum comes to Kumud's house and gets to know that Saras is also there. At first, she is not convinced about Saraswatichandra's intentions and thinks that he is here to win her back but as time passes she believes him. Saras and Kumud try to outsmart Kalika throughout the series as she is cunning and wants to marry Pramad herself.

Pramad is violent and abusive towards Kumud which puts her in a challenging predicament. The story goes on as Saras wanting to help Kumud but doesn't accept because of his previous behavior. Afterwards, Kumud forgives him when Saras tells her everything which had happened with Saras to Kumud. Kumud goes to her house for some rasam ritual with Pramad. At night, Pramad comes home drunk thus stunning the whole family and asks Kumud about Saraswatichandra.

Kumud is shocked to realize that Pramad knew about Saraswatichandra. Pramad tells that inspector Umesh Solankee told him about it. AKalika becomes suspicious of the fact that something is going on between Naveen and Kumud and starts searching for clues. On the festival of Teej she comes across the letters and earrings of Kumud in Naveen's cupboard and informs Pramad about the same.

He becomes furious and drags Kumud to the living room and insults her in front of the whole family. Everyone is shocked to hear this but Kusum saves the day by taking the blame on herself that she and Naveen like each other and everything in that box belongs to her. She says I m sure that those earrings and poetry were the right proof against Kumud. She says Kumdu has cheated you.

She says Naveen is actually Saraswatichandra. She asks why are you not telling anything. Saras lights the candle and Kalika turns to see him. Kalika is shocked to see Saras. She says you. She asks where is Pramad.

Saras says what do you see in my eyes. Kumud tells the Lord that Saras wants to see my happy, he does not think he have a right on me. He is innocent. Kalika tells Saras I see cheat in your eyes. He warns her that he will leak out her secret if she tells Pramad about him. Kalika says I will go and tell everyone about you. Saras says it will be good, I will take Kumud with me forever and we ill live together happily. Kalika says you are a slave here.

Saras says I can buy 10 people like Pramad, I have so much assets, go and tell everyone. It will be a profitable for me and Kumud. She says how can I agree to Badimaa.
